passing...

I woke up this morning to the phone ringing, I still didn't feel very good, (though I am feeling better now) and I heard the hubbs speak with a surprised tone in his voice. He came upstairs and preceeded to tell me that a family friend had passed away. Completely unexpected.

Sam was always very loving and nice to everyone who came into contact with him. He loved to serve God and to tell everyone about his love for the Lord. He also loved to give me a hard time and I would give it back to him just as much as I got it. We had a good time together and I am sad that he won’t be around anymore. He was an awesome member of my church family.

I know that He is in the presence of the Lord and that is so awesome! I can vision him in Heaven, dancing, singing, and laughing. I smile to myself when I think about it, because that is just the type of guy he was. He married the love of his life a little over a year ago and I know she is hurting so badly right now.

I ask that you keep her in your prayers. She just lost her mom in July and she was having a very hard time with that. This will be one of the times in her life that God will be carrying her through. I am so thankful that we have a Father who takes care of us. Our church family is so loving I know we will be huddled around her for awhile.
