See those cute boys with the binkies in their mouths? I am a binky Mama. Not because I can't soothe my babies. Not because I prefer my babies to suck on binkies rather than their fingers. I choose binkies (pacifiers) because they could possibly save my babies lives.

There are lots more sources that state the same information. Who knows exactly why they lower the risk, but they lower my anxiety level when my babies go to sleep. Granted, my boys use their binkies more than just sleeping, especially now that they are teething, but lowering the risk by 2/3 is quite awesome by itself!
