trembles

My heart hurts for those in Japan. So many are dead and missing. What is worse is that so many are lost. Not lost as in physically, but lost spiritually. There are many false gods worshipped in Japan and I pray that those who still have the opportunity can give their hearts to the one true Lord who will give them eternal life.

We have been praying for those affected by the earthquakes and tsunamis. The kiddo felt really bad for the people of Japan and decided she would do something about it. After talking together, she decided to begin a fundraiser at her school. Money collection jars are in all the classrooms for 2 weeks. Right before Spring Break begins; we will count the money, and then send it to the Red Cross. I am so proud of her wanting to help others. Seeing her do this as well as getting excited to see how much is raised for Japan makes me know I am raising her right.

The efforts at her school have rolled over to her kids group at church. Between school and church she will be asking for people everywhere to donate. The twins’ birthday is next week and I am sure she will be hitting up all who attend.

I pray that her heart continues to grow as she gets older. I know if it warms my heart as much as it does, God is looking down on her with a smile as well.
